Caring for your fresh cut flowers

Caring for your cut flowers is key to extending their vase life. Follow these steps to ensure that bacteria are not growing in the water and clogging your stems.

• ​Cut the stems at an angle to assist in hydration. Repeat every two days.
• Sterilize your vessel (and snips) before adding clean water. 
• If you have flower food, add it to the correct measurement
       (please don't put sugar in the water). 
• Clean and refill your vessel after you re-cut your stems.
• When you display your bouquet, choose a cool site not in direct sun.
