Tuber Sales & Shipping
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
- Our tuber sale is ONLINE ONLY
- Prices are for one tuber
- We only ship to Canadian addresses
- We do not take reservations
- Orders are processed when the online store opens
- A confirmation email and order number secure your purchase
**Multiple purchases on the same day can be combined** - All sales are first come, first served. Your order is not complete until payment is processed.
Items in your cart can disappear at the checkout stage. To avoid disappointment, I recommend making your choices before the sale opens.Have your selections ready and check out quickly. You can combine multiple same-day purchases into one order.
TO PLACE AN ORDER
- Create an account. We recommend doing this ahead of time. The sale is busy!
- You cannot shop or checkout without an account
- Add your dahlia tubers to your cart
- Select delivery method
- Process payment
Local Pickup Option: Pick up your order at the farm in Revelstoke by selecting this option at the checkout. The pickup date will be emailed to you.
SHIPPING & HANDLING is $25 plus tax. The flat rate applies across Canada, regardless of the size of your order. All parcels are shipped via Canada Post. Shipping begins April 14, 2025.
**COMBINING ORDERS
A lot of people are asking about this! You can combine same-day multiple orders.
Your first order is paid and checked out with your shipping preference
For subsequent orders select “Local Pick Up”

Additional fees added by Shopify cannot be reimbursed.
PRODUCT SATISFACTION
Your happiness matters! We guarantee that your tubers will arrive in excellent condition and have one live eye. Health and vigour of the plants are unrelated to size or shape. The tubers you receive may not appear pretty or be huge, but they will deliver a full season of robust blossoms. Trust us!
Upon receipt of your order, please inspect your tubers immediately and email me (with photos) if there is any damage or if you have received the wrong item. If you need to delay planting, store the tubers in a cool/dark place with the packaging open so that moisture does not build up.
Please understand that we cannot be held responsible for improper storage OR the weather, growing conditions, pest damage, plant performance or gardener negligence.
After planting, if your tubers do not sprout by June 15, please contact us immediately via email at: info@birdtreeurbanfarm.com. Include photos!
REFUNDS
To receive a refund, please contact me. Include an explanation and photos of your situation. Once I have made an assessment, and can clarify that the fault is with our product, I can refund the cost of the tuber, but not the shipping fee. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
ORDER PROCESSING
We pull all the dahlias out of storage at the same time. Packing for shipping and local pickup takes place concurrently.
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information. We are not able to accommodate any requests for early shipping.
